Insitugen's NeuterReady measures steroid hormones based on function rather than structure. This approach is more sensitive than standard immunoassays at low concentrations and more accessible than technologies such as mass spectrometry for routine veterinary use.
NeuterReady is the first in a suite of hormone health tests under development, with SpayReady and SpayCheck following a similar bioassay approach to support spaying decisions and timing.
